  • Transition course for current HPC users: from LSF to SLURM

    This course is restricted to UNIL/CHUV members only.

  • Description

    This course is specifically dedicated for current HPC user to learn how to efficiently move from Vital-IT’s compute and storage infrastructure to UNIL's newly launched infrastructure. The course will describe both the changes in hardware (e.g. how to access data storage) and software and in particular moving from LSF to SLURM.

    Target audience: Current UNIL/CHUV users who know how to run LSF jobs on the cluster.


    Please pay attention: this course is meant for current HPC users only.

    New HPC users will be invited to enrol the next regular sessions of "High Performance Computing (HPC): UNIL Infrastructure Training”, the first is scheduled on 20 September 2019.


  • Practical information & Registration

    This is a free course; it does not include hands-on sessions, you do not need to bring a laptop.
