    Advanced Statistics: Statistical Modelling

  • Schedule

    The course will run every day from 9:00 to 17:00 with two coffee breaks and a lunch.


    Monday 16 August:

    • Simple and multiple linear regression

    Tuesday 17 August:

    • Generalized linear models

    Wednesday 18 August:

    • Mixed-effects linear models
    • Longitudinal data analysis

    Thursday 19 August:

    • Generalized additive models


  • Software installation prior to the course

    You are required to have your own laptop, with at least 4 Gb of RAM, "R" v4.03 and "RStudio" v1.4.1717 software installed.

    The following packages need to be installed, for the practical sessions: akima, car, DAAG, faraway, gam, ggplot2, ISwR, lattice, lme4, nlme, SemiPar, splines, statmod, WWGbook
