Qualitative modelling in the era of big data

Course description:
The aim of the workshop is to present and describe qualitative modelling techniques.
We will go through several examples and application of these modelling approaches and work with different models in the afternoon. The outcome of the training is to evaluate the interest for a larger one week cursus that could take place in 2014 and encompass several modelling techniques, as part of two systems biology projects on Alzheimer and on Cardiovascular disease.
Target audience and requirements:
Biologists with a keen interest in modelling, no special background is necessary. Participants should bring their own laptops (with wi-fi).

The registration is closed.
The registration fees for academics are 50 CHF. The fees include course content material and coffee breaks.
